Myth Number 2: Astrology Starts and Ends with the 12 Signs of the Zodiac

You would think that astrologers say there are only 12 types of people in the world, the way some skeptics carry on.

Astrology is the LAST study in the world that denies individuality, in fact, it celebrates it, maybe too much.

Try this multiplication: 12 Sun-signs times 12 Moon signs times times 12 Mars-signs times 12 Jupiter signs times 12 Saturn-signs times 12 Ascendant-signs times 5 Venus-signs times 3 Mercury-signs times 12 Uranus/Neptune and Pluto signs plus a few House variations thrown in and you get more possible combinations over the course of history than there have ever been people living in the whole of human history.

And that’s before you really start to analyze a horoscope.

So, get over it, there is nothing ‘pigeon-holey’ about astrology.

And yet people luuurv Myers-Briggs which pigeon-holes you into one of 16 categories. And they carry these labels around with them, like precious secrets which they reveal to other cognoscenti who have also ‘done the test’. [That's like a secret handshake.]

Now, it’s up to you which numbers you love. If you love 16, but not 12, who am I to argue?

All I’m saying is, if you think astrology=12 you haven’t looked at the facts.
